Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual for a part-time cemetery mowing position beginning the spring of 2025. This role involves maintaining the beauty and integrity of the cemetery grounds through effective lawn care and landscape maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to preserving the serene environment of the cemetery.
Duties
- Perform regular mowing of grass areas to ensure neat and tidy appearance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks, including trimming and edging.
- Assist in general groundskeeping duties, ensuring pathways and memorials are clear of debris.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns regarding equipment or grounds to management.
Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- Familiarity with power tools like lawnmowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining a clean and respectful environment.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Criminal Background checks will be performed prior to employment.
